About
DevIT developed a headless E-commerce platform for Karst, an Australian company producing sustainable accessories for creatives. The platform featured a custom product builder, inventory synchronization, and a B2B portal, boosting both B2C and B2B operations. Delivered in approximately 820 hours, the platform helped Karst improve their customer experience and streamline business operations.
Client's Request
Karst, an Australian company, aimed to expand their eCommerce presence by creating a headless eCommerce platform to cater to both B2B and B2C customers. Specializing in environmentally conscious accessories for creatives, they required an online platform that would not only showcase their innovative recycled stone paper notebooks and woodless pencils but also provide a custom product builder, an app for inventory synchronization, and an efficient B2B portal. The platform had to be visually appealing, user-friendly, and functionally seamless, in line with their brand ethos of high-quality and sustainable products.
Here’s What We Did
DevIT took charge of the project by designing and implementing business logic for both front-end and back-end. The project involved building a custom product builder that allowed users to personalize their purchases, as well as developing a custom app for real-time inventory synchronization. Finally, we developed a B2B portal to streamline business operations for wholesalers, allowing them to place bulk orders effortlessly.
Here’s the Result
The result was a high-performance, headless eCommerce platform that catered to both B2C and B2B customers. The website successfully integrated a user-friendly product customization feature and real-time inventory updates, improving customer satisfaction. The B2B portal facilitated easy bulk ordering for wholesalers, significantly enhancing operational efficiency. Karst’s environmentally conscious products now have a sleek digital presence, allowing them to scale their business and reach a broader audience globally.
