About
DevIT collaborated with CatalogAce from concept to launch, developing a user-friendly application that revolutionizes how businesses handle wholesale catalog creation. With Shopify integration and seamless PDF generation, CatalogAce simplifies processes and enhances efficiency, driving better sales outcomes for its users.
Client's Request
CatalogAce wanted to streamline the wholesale process for businesses, allowing them to focus on driving sales by providing an easy-to-use tool for creating professional, customizable catalogs, line sheets, and price lists. The client needed a solution that could integrate with Shopify to import products, generate PDFs, and accept orders through catalogs, all while being user-friendly and efficient.
Here’s What We Did
DevIT partnered with CatalogAce from the initial idea phase, helping the client develop a smooth user flow and design for the application. We built a highly efficient, scalable platform using React JS, Polaris UI, and Vite, allowing users to effortlessly create catalogs and product sheets with personalized layouts, QR/barcode support, and cloud storage for easy sharing. The app also includes features for importing Shopify products with one click and transforming product pages into PDFs. With Mongo DB and Prisma ORM on the backend, we ensured the data structure was optimized for performance. Additionally, Heroku was used for deployment, and PDFKit facilitated PDF generation. We continue to support CatalogAce with ongoing development, adding new features to meet evolving business needs.
Here’s the Result
The application has streamlined the wholesale catalog creation process for businesses, allowing them to easily create and share customized catalogs and accept orders directly through their catalogs. This has led to an improved user experience and more efficient operations for businesses using CatalogAce. The app has been well received in the market, helping companies elevate their wholesale processes without requiring design skills.
