Client's Request
The client approached us during their pivot toward a new business model. They identified scalability challenges in the original version and decided to shift toward dealer-to-dealer trading. They needed to gradually redesign the product to support this new model while retaining much of the original technology.
Their requirements included:
- Revamping the consumer-facing ""Sell Page"" as a first priority
- Introducing an Appraisal workflow for incoming vehicles
- Streamlining inventory intake and digital paperwork generation
- Building a dealer-to-dealer trading system for wholesale vehicle exchange
- Creating a dashboard to monitor vehicle status, profit margins, and overall performance.
Here’s What We Did
We partnered closely with the client to support the MVP evolution, laying the foundation for their new B2B direction while keeping their current platform functional and adaptable.
Here’s what we implemented:
- Redesigned the Consumer Sell Page, making it more intuitive and focused on conversions
- Developed appraisal and inventory tools that map data and auto-generate paperwork
- Set up backend logic for tracking vehicles across stages: available, pending, sold
- Built tools for calculating cost, commissions, and profit to support financial oversight
- Created a statistics dashboard to give dealers visibility into their ongoing operations.
Here’s the Result
The updated platform supports a more efficient and scalable B2B workflow without losing its original consumer-facing functionality. With smart automation and clear dashboards, dealers now have the tools to manage trades, track performance, and stay competitive. Our expertise ensured a seamless evolution of the product, aligning its architecture with long-term business goals and making the platform future-ready.
