Estrellas Map is an e-commerce platform where users can create personalized star maps based on a special moment — a wedding, a birthday, or an anniversary. By selecting a date and location, customers get a scientifically accurate star map of the night sky at that time, printed on premium materials and shipped worldwide.

Client's Request

The client turned to us to create a Shopify-based website where users could:

Select a date and location to generate a star map.
Customize design (color, elements, layout, text).
Connect the store with a print-on-demand service for automatic order processing.
Launch multiple regional versions of the site in different languages.

Here’s What We Did

We designed and developed the entire experience from scratch:

Created the UX/UI design for the website and the custom star map builder.
Developed a Shopify store using Remix and modern front-end tools.
Built a custom Shopify app that powers the star map builder with real astronomical data.
Integrated the platform with Gelato (print-on-demand service) via API for automated order fulfillment.
Implemented multilingual support and launched five regional sites for different markets.
Used advanced rendering technologies (PIXI.js, sharp) for high-quality map generation.
Deployed on a secure and scalable infrastructure (AWS S3, GitHub).

Here’s the Result

The result is a highly interactive Shopify store that lets users design a personalized star map in real time. Orders are processed automatically via Gelato, ensuring smooth production and fast worldwide shipping.

The client received a custom solution that combines Shopify commerce with complex visual generation logic, distinguishing it from standard e-commerce setups.
