"FilmFestival"
The Kitzbühel Film Festival aims to bring the industry and the public closer together again.
About
DevIT developed a fully customizable, multi-language, and e-commerce-enabled website for the Film Festival Kitzbuehel. The platform was tailored to meet the festival's specific needs, offering an intuitive user experience, seamless ticket purchasing, and international accessibility.
Client's Request
The Film Festival Kitzbuehel (FFKB), a creative and versatile platform for filmmakers ranging from newcomers to professionals, needed a dynamic, user-friendly website to showcase their festival, provide information about events, and manage ticket sales. The platform had to accommodate various film formats and genres while focusing on young directors. Additionally, it required multi-language support and e-commerce capabilities for international visitors and participants.
Here’s What We Did
We built the FFKB website from scratch using WordPress CMS and the Avada theme. To ensure seamless content management, we integrated the Fusion visual builder, allowing the client to create posts and pages effortlessly. The site supports e-commerce functionalities through WooCommerce, facilitating ticket sales for events. Multi-language support was enabled using the qTranslate-X plugin, catering to the festival’s international audience. Additionally, we implemented FOO Events for event management and ticketing, ACF Pro for custom fields, and Contact Form 7 for user interactions. The site is fully responsive, ensuring optimal viewing across devices, and is built with modern technologies like HTML5, CSS3, CSS Flex, CSS Grid, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax.
Here’s the Result
The new website provided FFKB with a sleek, professional platform that showcased their festival’s diversity and creativity. Visitors could easily navigate the site, purchase tickets, and access event information in multiple languages. The website’s responsive design ensured a consistent experience across all devices, improving user engagement and satisfaction.
