The client, MUSE Cosmetics, wanted an engaging lottery feature on their Shopify store to enhance customer interaction and provide chances to win prizes with eligible purchases. They required an app for admin-side management to control and track lottery operations, while customers would access the lottery through an extension on the site, which would allow them to participate and win prizes only if they met certain criteria.
