About

This project involved the development of an early-stage web platform for renting and listing parking and garage spaces in urban areas. The product was designed as a two-sided marketplace, enabling parking space owners and drivers to interact through a location-based interface. The implementation reflects an initial version of the platform, created to support early validation and future iteration.

Client's Request

The client approached us with the idea of creating a garage rental platform from scratch — something clean, scalable, and easy to manage. They wanted to start with 1–2 cities, but with a clear vision for future expansion.

Here’s what they needed implemented:

  • Two user roles: landlords and tenants, each with unique access and permissions.
  • Interactive map: garages should be displayed on a map with clickable markers and pop-up details.
  • Admin panel: for managing users, listings, and content with minimal technical effort.
  • Scalable tech stack: suitable for growth and further feature development.

Here’s What We Did

To bring this idea to life, we proposed a full custom development using the MERN stack, ensuring flexibility and scalability from day one. The main website was built with Next.js, offering dynamic interfaces and excellent SEO potential.

Here’s how we implemented the solution:

  • Frontend with Next.js: built a responsive, intuitive interface with interactive map integration using Google Maps API.
  • Role-based access control: ensured seamless functionality for both landlords and tenants.
  • Admin dashboard with Strapi: enabled easy management of listings and users without coding knowledge.
  • Architecture for scale: everything was designed to support rapid future expansion across new locations and features.

Here’s the Result

The project resulted in a working early-stage marketplace platform with core listing, search, and management functionality in place. It provided a stable technical foundation for initial testing and iteration, allowing the product direction to evolve. This implementation reflects the platform at that specific stage and is shown as a historical example of our work.
