Landlords have agents. You’ve got Ellie.
About
Ellie is a digital assistant designed to guide users through the UK rental process with confidence and clarity. The platform introduces a friendly, humanized brand that redefines how people find and manage rental properties, offering not just listings, but support and advocacy for tenants.
Client's Request
The client approached us in the early stages of building the platform, looking to create a visually striking and engaging landing page to introduce Ellie and start building an early audience. They needed a high-quality web presence to reflect the brand’s personality and future potential.
Here’s what they were looking for:
- A strong visual identity: A full-screen dark-themed layout with a bold, modern feel.
- Clear messaging: Taglines and subheadings that would communicate Ellie's purpose quickly and memorably.
- Animated character integration: Space for a looping video or GIF of Ellie, the platform's AI assistant.
- Smooth scroll experience: A clean, scroll-to-reveal layout for key content sections.
- Feature highlights: A section to explain Ellie’s core functions using illustrated points.
- Audience growth: An integrated Beehiiv signup form to capture early interest.
Here’s What We Did
We began with a collaborative design phase in Figma, where our UI/UX team developed several concept directions to set the tone for Ellie’s voice and mission. Once approved, we moved into development using modern web technologies.
Here's how we approached it:
- Landing page concept and design: Created multiple variations of the hero section and “How Ellie Can Help” blocks, using relatable scenarios and conversational language.
- Modern tech stack implementation: Built the landing page with Next.js and Tailwind CSS to ensure performance, flexibility, and fast loading times.
- Content structure and storytelling: Crafted a natural narrative to introduce Ellie’s features, goals, and future promise in a user-friendly way.
- Functional contact form: Enabled newsletter sign-ups and user engagement, supporting pre-launch interest and user data collection.
Here’s the Result
The result is a user-focused landing page that introduces Ellie with clarity, warmth, and purpose. The design balances storytelling with functionality, creating a memorable first impression. Thanks to the seamless collaboration between our design and development teams, we delivered the first phase on time and with the flexibility needed for further growth.
Our expertise in UX and modern web frameworks helped the client present a compelling product vision from day one, laying the foundation for future success in the rental-tech space.
